Sel Hótel Open 2026 will be held November 19th - 22st 2026 in Skjólbrekka Mývatn in North Iceland. Participants will be limited to 64 players.
If more than 64 players register to the tournament, the organizers will divide the tournament into two rating sections, 2000+ elo and -2000 elo. The rating will be based on the November 1, 2026 rating list. Title players with 1900-1999 elo can choose either category.
To register every player needs a valid FIDE-ID
