RAPID – 5 Round Swiss | CFC active rated | CFC membership is required.
Rounds: RAPID: Rd 1 – 10 AM; Rds 2 & 3 immediately after the previous rounds; Lunch break; Rd 4 – 2:30 PM; Rd 5 immediately after Rd 4.

Time Control: 15 mins per game plus a 10-sec increment

1/2 points for rounds 1-4. Only 2 byes allowed
The byes MUST be requested in advance during registration or at the latest prior to the end of the previous round

Registration Fees
EARLY BIRD Entry fee (Ends February 15, 2025 at Midnight): $40
REGULAR Entry fee (Ends February 28, 2025 at Midnight): $45
LATE Entry fee (Ends March 7, 2025 at Midnight): $50
FREE Registration for IMs/GMs (Send an email with your Full name and CFC ID to info@elevatemychess.com to register)
Note: You will be required to pay by credit card to complete your registration. If you'd prefer to pay by email money transfer, kindly send your payment to info@elevatemychess.com with the player's first and last name, CFC ID and email address, and we will register you manually.
**PRIZES **
OPEN - Prizes for 1st - $200, 2nd - $100 and 3rd - $80
U1000 - Prize for top U1000 - $70
U700 - Prize for top U700 - $50
Minimum Prize Fund - $500
Maximum Prize Fund - 70% of proceeds from registration in excess of $1,000
An unrated player or a player with a provisional rating may not win over $50 in U1000 & U700
Water and chess equipment will be provided.

By registering for our event, you consent and agree to our Notice of Filming & Photography.
Refund Policy: No cash refunds on withdrawal. Credit for an equal amount will be given if you notify us of withdrawal on or before March 1, 2025. Credits can be used to register for tournaments and other programs offered by Elevate My Chess. Your registration fee will be forfeited if you don’t notify us of withdrawals on or before March 1, 2025. However, consideration for credit will be considered in special circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
